Anhui Provincial Hospital of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force Corps (hereinafter referred to as "Anhui Provincial Hospital of the Armed Police Force Corps") is a comprehensive Level-III Class-A hospital that integrates medical treatment, education, scientific research, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. Originally established in 1962 as the 696 Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army and transferred to an armed police force corps in 1982, this hospital comprises two districts: North District and South District. The North District [i.e. the General Hospital of Anhui Provincial Hospital of the Armed Police Force Corps] is situated on Changfeng Road in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China. Covering an area of 67,000 square meters with a construction footprint of 66,900 square meters, it houses 16 first-class clinical departments, 19 second-class professional departments, 16 medical technical departments and offers a total of 700 beds.

The Opinions on Promoting the Development of "Internet + Medical Health" issued by The General Office of the State Council in 2023 emphasizes a triad approach linking medical services, pharmaceuticals and insurance systems. This guideline aims to leverage Internet technology for modernizing healthcare services through optimized resource allocation that enhances service efficiency while meeting increasing public health demands. Since its release, “Internet + Medical Health” has gained traction across various hospitals throughout China.
