On December 20th, the 2024 China Financial Industry Data Center Development Forum co-hosted by CDCC (China Data Center Council) and CHINA IPPR INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING CO., LTD. was successfully held.

On the forum, Dr. He Fang, Chief Expert and Laboratory Director of Connection Systems, delivered a speech themed "High-density & High-speed Connection Assists in Boosting the Computing Power of Financial Data Centers". Dr. He said that the rapid development of artificial intelligence urges data centers to evolve towards the 800Gb/s and 1.6 Tb/s Ethernet. Artificial intelligence highly depends on “computing power”, whereas the realization of high-performance computing power needs to use a large number of computing resources.

Against the backdrop of the continuous advancement of China's digitalization process and the extensive application of new technologies, data centers are faced with an urgent demand for an increase in data transfer rate. By rationally adding computing units and connection channels within a limited space, the computing power per unit space can be effectively enhanced.
