Zhaolong Interconnect’s Testing Center Expands Accredited Capabilities

As per the most recent announcement of CNAS, the Testing Center of Zhejiang Zhaolong Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (CNAS Registration No.: L14161) has officially passed both the re-assessment and the scope expansion assessment conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). The application for the scope expansion of accreditation was officially submitted in 2024. Following rigorous evaluation, the CNAS official website officially announced the accreditation results on March 15th, 2025.

The newly added items in this scope expansion assessment are as follows:

• EIA-364 series (Connector Testing Specifications, covering 14 testing items);

• IEC 60068 series (equivalent to GB/T 2423 series, Environmental Testing Specifications, involving 11 testing items);

• UL 2556-2021 (Safety Test Methods for Wires and Cables, encompassing 23 testing items);

• UL 1685-2020 (Vertical Flame Spread Combustion and Smoke Release of Bundled Cables);

• EN 50399:2022 (corresponding to GB/T 31248-2014, Vertical Flame Spread Combustion of Bundled Cables, along with Heat Release and Smoke Release);

• IEC 60332-3 series (equivalent to GB/T 18380.3x series, Vertical Flame Spread Combustion of Bundled Cables, ranging from Classes A F/R to D);

• CRIA 0003.2-2016, T/CECA 37-2020, and TICW 21-2019 (Flexible Cables for Industrial Robots);

• IEC 62153 series (equivalent to GB/T 31723 series, Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing of Metal Communication Cables - Absorbing Clamp Method, including 4 testing items);

• GB/T 16921-2005 (Coating Thickness).

  
  

Currently, the accredited standards cover over 200 testing items across four major fields: cable materials, communication cables, wires and cables for electrical equipment, and electrical accessories (connectors). These testing items cover a wide range of properties, including physical properties, mechanical properties, environmental properties, electrical properties, transmission properties, electromagnetic compatibility properties, combustion properties, flexibility properties of industrial cables, and other related properties.
